One cannot make a compelling novel without studying philosophy. For it is in philosophy where abstract concepts that shape our world is studied. And it is through novels, which are essentially stories, where those abstract ideals are concretely expressed, in terms of humanity’s decisions and actions, and human condition in its consequences. Novels make the unseen seen.
