Yup, you heard it right. Guitar-ing. Guitar-ing the play.
I learned to guitar this song back in high school but found myself still coming back to it in my senior year in college.
I first heard this song from Sungha Jung’s guitar cover and found the song mellow, bittersweet, and cheerful. This song feels warm. It gives me ‘Bubbly’ vibes.
It’s years later that I realized it’s a breakup song.
“Well, I thought I could just get over you baby
But I see that’s something I just can’t do”
Searching for song lyrics back then wasn’t going to help me much because guitar-ing the play was my primary mode of expressing emotions. Yeah, it only helps up to a certain point.
I filmed this particular video in the morning, edited it during lunch, posted it on Facebook, and then went to class at 1pm. Connecting circuit wires in the lab doesn’t feel as meaningless for that day.
